In 2012 we commemorate the 70th anniversary of the mass extermination of the Jews in the gas chambers of Birkenau. On the occasion of this years’ anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi German concentration camp Auschwitz, a unique relic was presented – the only surviving gas chamber door from crematorium no. V, which was blown up by the SS during the final evacuation of the camp.
