Ordering Orders shall be placed at the on-line book shop of the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum on the website www.auschwitz.org
In exceptional circumstances an order can be placed at the Museum Publishing Department by telephone or e-mail. Payment and delivery shall be decided on with a client.

Delivery If an order is placed via the website www.auschwitz.org, a customer can choose two methods of dispatch:
- economical recorded delivery , payment on account or by credit card,
- prior recorded delivery, payment on account or by credit card. Delivery Times The Museum Publishing Department shall complete an order within three days of the date of receiving payment. The Museum Publishing Department shall not bear any responsibility for delays in the delivery due to work of Poczta Polska.
Changes in Orders A customer may change an order on the same day when a previous order is placed by

The Museum Publishing Department shall consider all changes provided that a parcel has not already been sent.
A customer may not collect a parcel from a postman or post-office. It shall be returned in an original wrapping to the Museum address: Państwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau, ul. Więźniów Oświęcimia 20, 32-603 Oświęcim, Poland. The Museum Publishing Department shall be informed about a return. Chosen books, CDs and posters shall be resent free of charge.
Claims and Returns A customer can claim about mechanical defects in goods or goods damaged during delivery.

An invoice shall be attached to defective goods. Postage expenses shall be reimbursed by the Museum after receiving a return and investigating complaints.
Defective goods shall be exchange with faultless books, CDs or posters. If it was not possible (e.g. out of print) the Museum Publishing Department shall return an/the equivalent of a/the customer’s purchase.
Payment Security
Payment security in the Museum online bookshop guarantees:
- the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum and Poczta Polska (The Polish Post Office),
- Przelewy24 system for payments by credit card or bank transfers,
- PayPal system which enables payment without using credit card data.
Przelewy24 is an authorized firm responsible for the payments in the Musuem's online bookshop, a kind of Moneybookers. Przelewy24 has an option for paying by credit card.
