The statutes provide for an International Committee to ensure that the functioning of the Foundation is completely transparent to the public and to future donors. The members of the Committee come from the countries whose governments contributed to the creation of the Perpetual Fund. The International Committee has constant access to information about the work of the Foundation, and assesses the work of the Foundation and examines its plans at special sessions. No changes in its statutes are possible without first informing the Committee.
